The red ones are gloves with no fingertips hence 'fingerless gloves' and the grey ones look like mittens with no tops. Some people make actual wrist warmers which are just a wide band with no thumb at all. I think the thumb part makes them a mitt.

Laura xLaura Sparlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05291538001842729975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6490460042834444771.post-28069208319400934972010-10-28T18:21:09.424+01:002010-10-28T18:21:09.424+01:00I love your sister's gloves. My joints ache in the cold (I'm hypothyroid), and I too wear "fingerless" gloves, although I thought the style you knitted your sister were known as "wrist-warmers" as there are no actual fingers (apart from the thumbs).

I suppose I should step away from my scarf comfort zone and re-learn to knit intricate patterns again! Thanks for sharing the pattern source!! :)Helga Hansenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00722048845460400184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6490460042834444771.post-20512390927884697752010-10-28T17:48:01.075+01:002010-10-28T17:48:01.075+01:00Wow!
