Very lush. I bought this gorgeous hand dyed 'Harlequin' yarn from Sophie's Toes on Etsy last week and it arrived today. Sheer beauty. I really can't wait to turn this into socks! I started work on another pair last night so I must finish those first. I also received some funky coloured wooden double pointed needles in the post today that I ordered from the highly efficient Stash. Knit-tastic!
I signed up to Twitter this morning. I think it could become ridiculously addictive. I don't do Facebook or My Space but Twitter seems to be right up my street. I've added my Twitter updates on my blog sidebar so come along and follow me and my 'Tweets' if you like!
Beautiful yarn, Laura! Your lovely socks have inspired me to go get my knitting stuff out of the loft. How much yarn does it take to make a pair of socks? I've got various balls of leftovers from things I've knitted in the past. Will a 100g ball do a pair?
Gosh - what lovely yarn - beautiful colours! I'd love to see how it knits up. And many thanks again for all the sock help btw, mum's finally managed to 'do a heel'! Woohoo!!! LOL! ;-)
Hi Laura - thanks for the info, my needles arrived this morning. After bead cleaning duty this evening, I will be making a start on my first pair of socks! I'm really looking forward to it. Sue

ReplyDeleteOooh - it's nice to have inspired someone!
ReplyDeleteYep - 100g will knit you a pair of socks with some left to spare.
Happy knitting!
