Sock Blockers?

Does anyone know whereabouts in the UK I can buy some wooden sock blockers from? I've searched the interwebs high and low but to no avail.

Can any fellow knitters help?

  1. I had no luck either when I was looking. There were lots listed on Etsy in the USA if you don't mind the postage, the horrendous exchange rate AND waiting for them to arrive!

  3. Sue - Yes, the postage from the States is ridiculous. Annoying.

Joy - Thanks for the link. Have looked there but they don't have the size I need in stock.

  4. I renewed my efforts today and found this company:

No children's sizes, unfortunately. I'm ordering some in the small size so I'll let you know what I think of them. They're a bit expensive considering what they are but I imagine they'll last a long time.

  5. Oops, sorry - ignore my previous, they're not wooden (I would prefer them in wood too).

  6. I know exactly what you mean and I've seen them on the internet but can't for the life of me remember where. If I find them again I'll let you know.

  7. Good news, I emailed a previous supplier on Ebay and he says he is gearing up to start listing them again in about a week

  8. Have you tried posting a thread on crafteroo? I am sure that there is one for "where can I get?...." I would ask for you but I am totally in the dark as to what one is let alone what you would do with it! Vx
