I thought I'd do a work in progress shot of the circular blanket that I'm knitting. I've been working on this on and off since June and the finish is almost in sight. I currently have 640 stitches on the needles and I have twelve rounds to knit before I start working on the edging. This blankety blob is keeping my lap nice and warm while I knit. Cosy!EDIT : I've just noticed that this is my five-hundredth blog bost. Woohoo!
No it hasn't! There was one touch-and-go moment where I thought it was going to have to be frogged but I corrected the offending mistake (took me two hours to pick up the stitches after ripping back a few rounds) and the blanket lives!
That looks so great, I hope this project hasn't produced as much swearing as your lovely stole!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to complete and block it.
The pattern looks wonderful! I hope you show us the finished product!
ReplyDeleteI certainly will - just about to embark on the edging .....
ReplyDeleteThose have got to be very long needles to hold 640 stitches!
ReplyDeleteI'm using a 1.5 metre circular needle. :o)
