Another question for you

Lampwork Glass 'Luminobeads'
Above is a shot of some Luminobeads taken before I packed them up and sent them off to their new homes.

Big thanks to all of you who have been so wonderfully encouraging about my book idea and thank you very much for all the suggestions you've made about what you'd like to see in the book.

A couple of you have mentioned videos in your comments and emails and you'd like some more bead movies.  That's great and I'm happy to oblige but I'm stuck for ideas so once more I turn to you, lovely readers, and ask you - what you would like to see me demonstrate in my next lampworking video?  Answers on a postcard, please ..... or in the comments section.

Have a good afternoon,

  2. Laura - ment o comment on your last post. Do you know Kerry Bogert? Her blog is Kabs Creative Concepts. She's a lampworker who published a book of her jewelry, and mentioned that her publisher has ties to the UK. She's a wonderfully open and fun gal - you should contact her about getting published :-) I think what ever you do book-wise will be fab - your beads are A-mazing!

  3. Hi Laura,

I'd love a video on any of the following: mushrooms, seashells, pleats, swirl beads or candy rainbow lentils. Anything you decide will be greatly appreciated. You are so talented and such an inspiration.

    Thank you, Cheryl

  5. Hello all,

    Thanks for your video suggestions.

The Candy Rainbow Lentils are a no-can-do, I'm afraid. Not because I'm being selfish but because I can't for the life of me make any more. I've tried and tried but I just cannot get them to look correct.

    Same with the pleats.

So hearts, shells and mushrooms are do-able but not the other two.

    Sorry!

    Laura x
