'Frappuccino' & 'Apricot Jam'

Lampwork Glass Beads

I've made orange beads before. I've made light brown beads before. But it wasn't until I got these beads together whilst cleaning them that I saw how much they zing with each other. I think I'll definitely have to make a set that combines both of these shades.

Until then, these 'Frappuccino' ones ...

... and these 'Apricot Jam' ones ...

... are over on the Freshly Baked Beads page now. Both sets contain a mix of shiny and etched beads and each set contains two hearts. Lots of jewellery-making potential.

Cat + polka dots = perfect

Nigel has done much slumber today but now he's run out of sleep and he's currently tearing around the living room like a mad thing, chasing a ball. At one point he climbed halfway up the curtain. I'd forgotten just how crazy kittens can get when they have a funny fifteen minutes.

Anyway, I'm off for a cup of vanilla chai and to hook the curtains up out of harm's way ...
