A note about orders

Due to unforeseen circumstances I shan't be taking bead orders for the foreseeable future. This may well change BUT for now, if you'd like or need owls, acorns, ladybirds, bracelets and the like, please get your orders in ASAP. I'll be removing the option to order them from the website sometime on Monday. Anything you do order will be with you within a week to ten days.

I can't do any Bumblebeads as I'm out of the particular yellow glass I use for them for the time being.

There will be beads and jewellery for sale on a first-come-first-served basis still, but after Monday, no orders.

Thank you,

  1. Hmm, I don't know if I should be sorry to hear that you aren't doing orders anymore or happy for you that it's a load off your shoulders. I know lots of lampworkers who hate doing made-to-order, and from reading your blog I know it's been hard on you in the past. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I just hope that whatever "unforeseen circumstances" you've encountered aren't bad circumstances. I don't like to pry, so I won't ask what it is, but know that I personally miss your tales-about-your-life kinds of posts, good or bad. Even though we've never met, you always seem like someone that I could get along with well in person (and I'm sure lots of other readers feel the same) and I've come to care what happens to you. So, if you care to share "what's up", you'd have a sympathetic audience. At least in me.

  2. Aw, Aimee, that's so lovely of you.

I'll do a follow-up blog in a few days which will explain more.

    Thank you,
