Cat Burglar

More Flora beads, this time in lavender and ink blue.

I came downstairs this morning to find my bag of caramelised milk chocolate drops scattered over the lounge floor next to a dozing and pretty smug-looking Buster who had obviously decided he'd help himself. The thing is, he can't have milk in any form otherwise he goes completely crazy. So not only did I have to throw the chocolate drops away (not very appetising when they've been licked by a cat and have tabby fur stuck to them) but I've had to put up with the cat acting like some kind of ninja today. Every time I came out of the shed he was there, lurking. At lunch I opened the shed door and as I walked out a paw swiped me across the head and this evening he chased me up the garden and bit my leg. Note to self - at night make sure chocolate is totally out of feline reach ......

  3. First I've heard of a lacto-intolerant cat - weird! Finding these flowery beads very cheering!

  4. Thanks Caroline!

Lactose intolerance in cats is quite common. We got Buster from the Blue Cross about ten years ago and back then he was often ill or grumpy. I did some web research and found that it could be lactose that was causing the problem. We changed his food and totally cut out lactose and he was like a different cat. If he ever has lactose now he gets quite miserable and agressive. He's a strange one ....

  5. Buster reminds me a bit of my cat! At least once a week Millie will have a mad hour or so which involves chasing round the house pouncing on imaginary mice, hiding behind the tablecloth on the dining room chairs to swipe you with her paw as you walk past. Daft, aren't they?!

I think these floral beads are my favourite colour combination so far. Lovely!

  6. I did have to smile at your story of puss.......We used to have a cat called Charlie who loved fish or rather loved the fish on my mothers plate of a friday night, fish & chip night.....She would flirt and purr and always got it!!!

The beads are wonderful, they just get better and better!!!

  7. love these floral beads, but after looking at them I have an old song running through my head and can't get it out. Do you know it, "Flowers in the Rain"? I love that song.

  8. Gorgeous beads!
I love cats, Buster sounds great. I've had cats around me for my whole life until 18 months ago when I left my parents. Now I'm really kitten broody but I don't think my housemates would be too pleased with a cat!
