Input, I need input!

The other day Kerry over at Kab's Creative Concepts was talking about getting inspiration for new designs by refreshing old ones. So I thought I'd ask you which of my old designs you'd quite like to see again. I'm not talking remakes, I'm talking adjustments. Yes, adjustments. There may be a particular design you like but you'd like to see it in a different colour. Or perhaps you like the pattern on a set of beads but you'd like to see them squished into a different shape. Or maybe you'd like a set more if it had no raised dots . . . or indeed if it did have bumpy bits!

Please click here to take a look at my Flickr gallery of past work and please leave any beady suggestions you may have in the comments section here on my blog.

Thanking you muchly!

  2. Oooooh, where to start! I love all your beads and I have been off the jewellery making radar for a few months so I have missed out on loads!!

Hmmm, there are some fab colourways that you have done that would be great to see again in other forms, especially bubblegum & licorice, nemo, vogue, cocoa delight, ravishing rouge, cocoa hibiscus, monochrome...
I also loved your lumino beads, so more colours or different shapes in those, the plume beads and the hibiscus lentils...
The little shaped strawberries, mushrooms, shells and leaves were also great so maybe more themed shaped beads...oh and more of the olive shaped beads!!!

  6. Thanks for all the suggestions, beadpeople!

What's with the shells, though? I didn't realise you all liked them as much as you seem to!

  10. For me, it is the plumes, the anemones and the hibiscus, they are my fav designs. Deckchair were nice as well and the lumino beads..oh and the pleats and the swirly lentils - very groovy. I also like the spangles, simple but effective...Vx

  11. How about lumino beads made into lentils. I love all your beads but the lumino ones just have that inner glow that keeps you captivated. Lentils are my favorite shape, so maybe you could combine the two, :o)

  12. I have to say that I love all of them...even though I am still patiently waiting to beat someone to it and be the proud owner of one of your sets.....
Having said that, I particularly like the yummy yummy strawberies!!!! When I saw them I had very vivid images of me wearing them around my wrist......so cute and fun!! :op

  13. Laura - all your beads are amazing, though the ones that stand out for me are the Sunset group with that subtle graduation in colour. More of those in any colour and translucent as well as opaque would be fantastic! I also like your focal sized beads or lentil shapes. Toika

  14. Virginia - I see what you're saying about the lentils but from a technical point of view the opaque cores would 'squidge' out of shape (too out of shape for my liking, anyway!) when pressed into the lentil mould. Shame, because Lumino Lentils would look nice.

Hmmm - the strawberries seem popular as well. I'd better order some more red glass!

Toika - I like that colour graduation in the 'Sunset' set too. May well revisit those.

Thanks for all the input everyone!
