If so, all you need to do is tell me your favourite kind of real cake. You can do this by commenting or emailing me.
I'll draw a winner at random on Monday September 7th. The draw is open to anyone anywhere in the whole universe but only one entry per person please.
I think I put my answer on the wrong comments. not tring to put two comments in. I love your cupcakes and all your beads you are the master! My cake is yellow cake with chocolate frosting.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you Pam!
ReplyDeletePink with sprinkles!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cupcake beads again Laura :o)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite kind of real cake is chocolate, but other than it having a large chocolate content im really not fussy :o)
ooh, just been admiring your pics on Flickr ... glad I linked over here :P I love lemon drizzle cake, but can always make room for a pretty iced fairy cake :)
ReplyDeleteIt's lemon drizzle for me or apricot and almond.....having said that most things with chocolate get my vote as well :)
ReplyDeleteMmmm - cake!
ReplyDeleteNic with the carrot cake - I accidentally rejected your comment. My hand had a stupid moment and clicked the wrong button. Can you post again?

My friend makes a devine cupcake with a white chocolate cream icing, it is completely AMAZING! The fluffy cake with the frosting that is rich but light at the same time, mmmmmm. Do you think that is OK to eat whilst doing Weight Watchers??! ;0)
ReplyDeleteCarrot cake with lime icing. I have a failsafe recipe which always goes quickly when I take it in to work
ReplyDeleteBoston Cream Pie!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little cupcake pendant!!
My favourite cake is Lemon or Lemon Curd cake followed by Carrot cake :-)))))
ReplyDeleteJust adore your pendant cupcake. The little cherry on the top is just perfect :-)
Cheers
Lynne
My favourite real cake is carrot cake. Gordon Ramsey has a fantastic recipe involving an orange syrup :)
ReplyDeleteMy favourite non-real cakes are your cupcakes. They're amazing! :)
I like black forest cake, :) so yummy.

Chocolate victoria sponge (plain sponge with chocolate buttercream).
ReplyDeleteYour cupcake pendant looks like it would taste like black forest gateaux....also a fave!
Love your cupcake beads!
ReplyDeleteMy fave "real" cake would have to be Christmas Cake - dark rich fruit cake and a nice bit of icing on top :)
Now that's a tricky one, I love cake. Coffee cake, ginger cake, carrot cake.... I think my fav at the moment is one I had a local coffee shop which was Honey cake with a luscious lemon butter cream icing - oh no mouth watering better step away from the keyboard.
ReplyDeleteDEVIL FOOD CAKE. The more chocolate the better!!
ReplyDeleteKellie Cales
I like all of your cupcakes, but in real life my favorite is chocolate. I also love blueberries, but in my country (Colombia) whe don´t have them.
ReplyDeleteCake is never not good - but the best has to be vegan chocolate brownie cakes with chocolate buttercream and melty chocolate ganache. Oh, and with some chocolate.
ReplyDeleteJust gotta be Black Forest Gateau - Yum!!
ReplyDeleteNot fussy when it comes to cake but my overall favourite has to be christmas cake. I think its the general happiness of christmas combined with icing and marzipan that does it :D
ReplyDeleteMy favorite cake is lemon pound cake with a little whipped cream and some strawberries on the side. Can't get much better than that!
ReplyDeleteHello Laura, I love strawberry cake with whipped cream and all your cupcake beads!
ReplyDeleteI just love all cakes!
ReplyDeleteIf I had to choose one - a local bakery makes carrot cake muffins with cream cheese. They are to die for.
My favorite is called Champagne Cake, it is white with a lovely cream filling which can be died pink and pink frosting. I love a few roses on top.
ReplyDeleteMine favorite has got to be chocolate fudge cake followed a close second by coffee and walnut cake.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous poster the cupcake pic would make. ;-)
Ooh cake, one of my favourite things! Probably top of my list is chocolate orange cake with gooey chocolate fudge icing :D Love the cupcake pendants, they look good enough to eat!!
ReplyDeleteLindsey
Mine is coffee cake.
ReplyDeleteShari x
My ultimate favorite is Red Velvet Cake. Yummy! So now that they have Red Velvet Cheesecake out there...I am all over it! I absolutely love your work!
ReplyDeletemmmm jamica ginger cake lathered in butter! pure stodge and comfort food. Love the new batch of pendants!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite kind of cake is anything with LEMON!
ReplyDeleteLOVE these cupcake beads!
I have one of your amazing cupcake pendants already, but would love to win one for my friend, who is having a hard time at the moment and admired my bead :)
ReplyDeleteMy favourite cakes are the type that are made by children. I used to be a Brown Owl and at Christmas time, the girls would bring me cakes that they had made at home. They weren't the most beautiful of cakes, the icing was splodgy, the sprinkles were messy and the cases were crumpled but I can taste the love that went into those cakes right now :)
Hi Laura, as it's my birthday on 10th Sept my fave cake has to be birthday cake as long as you don't count the candles;)
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work.

Hi Laura, I recently bought a cupcake pendant and earrings for my daughter as congratulations for her fab GCSE results and she loves them.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure of the official name of my favorite real cake but it is something my Mum used to make which included soaking the fruit in tea so it was always known as "cup of tea" cake in our house!
It's Christmas cake for me too...I make mine in October if I can find the time...always feel sad when it's all gone!
ReplyDeleteYour beads are beautiful!

I love cake!!! choosing my favourite real cake is almost as hard as choosing which of your gorgeous cupcake beads is my favourite!!
ReplyDeleteI think lemon cake is my favourite cake to eat though. :o)
thanks for the chance to win a cupcake!
Oh - soooo not fair making me choose just ONE type of cake!!! I love blueberry muffins and good old chocolate cake, but I'm also a BIG fan of sticky pecan muffins (home-made of course)!
ReplyDeleteI love your cup-cake beads - each one looks like the perfect little mouthful, good enough to eat!
Birthday Cake! Yummy!
ReplyDeleteAre brownies allowed? I'm obsessed to the degree that I'm awarding points to the ones I've tasted. Top of the league with 9.5 (out of 10) are the ones I 've had just a few days ago from a bakery in Falmouth (close contender were the ones I had in the Lizard last year, what is it with Cornwall and brownies?)
ReplyDeleteIf I can't have brownies then it has to be my very own marble cake!
