Orders & Tweets

Lots of lampwork glass beads!
The photograph above is to prove that I haven't been sitting around doing nothing, although my lack of blogging activity may have made it seem that way.

I've been nice and busy making orders which hasn't been half as stressful as I thought it would be - you know what I can be like with things like that.  The picture up there shows some of the beads that I've made in the last week.

If you fancy placing an order for some beads and you'd like them before Christmas (sorry to mention the C-word there) then you'll need to place your order by December 2nd.  All ordering details can be found here.

I must say that I am thoroughly enjoying the wonders of Twitter.  I spend most of my day alone - Chris sometimes pops home for lunch but apart from that and a couple of bike rides to Tesco a week I'm practically a hermit.  Twitter enables me to have conversations and interaction (even if it is about Gillian McKeith and random sandwich fillings) with other people and that's great.  I love chatting with my guinea pigs but for some reason it's always a one-sided conversation so tweeting with fellow Twitterfolk is brilliant.

Alrighty then, I am now off to clean the guinea pig hutch out (glamorous!) and then take care of the rest of my rather long to-do list .....

Have a great afternoon!

  1. Laura, it's a good thing your beads are far, far away, as I might try to eat them. They look delicious!

  2. Nice to see you back in Bloggerland! Not being much of a twitterer myself, I feel I must go find out who Gillian McKeith is!

    Lovely beady photograph.

  3. It's nice having someone else to tweet with too - even if I am being a bit naughty by doing it during working hours. I've never let it affect the quality of my work, though - which is why I sometimes "vanish"!

Love the beads, too - can't wait to see my latest order! x

  4. I too spend a lot of my time at home with the occasional foray into town to the pet shop and the far less important human food shop! I am also cleaning my guinea-pigs, and rabbits and degus today, so it is nice to hear that there are other animal-loving hermits out there.....!

  5. Ah the solitary life of an artist...sometimes I am very glad of the internet to prove there are other people out there! Love those clear textured beads by the way.
