More hearts

Lampwork glass heart beads

I took this photo of a pile of heart beads and spacers this morning. They were having a little sunbathe during the seven minutes of sunshine that happened today. Anyway, I've made more 'Lub Dub' necklaces, heart sets and individual hearts. The hearts all went pretty fast last time so if you fancy any of these items, grab them whilst you can.

'Lub Dub'

Lampwork glass heart necklace

'Lub Dub' is the term used in medical textbooks to describe the sound of a heartbeat. I decided to name these necklaces after it.

The bright red, glossy hearts are coated with enamel and each one is decorated with a tiny raised white heart. The necklaces are £17.00 each and would make super Valentine's Day gifts. They're available here.

If you fancy the idea of making your own wearable with the Lub Dub hearts, they are available loose, on their own (£6.50) or with a dozen matching red spacers (£9.50).

Thank you for all of the lovely comments on my last post. They're very much appreciated.

Enjoy the rest of your Friday!

An Official Chocolate Day

Valentine's Day ChocolatesThere are four days of the year when it's perfectly acceptable to eat chocolate for your breakfast. Those times are your birthday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day and Valentine's Day. I have been known to eat chocolate for breakfast on other days but we won't talk about that .....

So first thing this morning I revelled in the fact that's it's an Official Chocolate Day and I broke open a beautiful box of
Hotel Chocolat loveliness that my fantastic fiancé sent me for Valentine's Day. The chocolates are so pretty - there's lots of pink and dashes of red and they are utterly delicious. Thank you, Mister G!

Fabulous Fella

ValentinesI know Valentines Day was on Saturday and therefore I'm a tad behind with the topical romance-related blog post but I just have to mention the fact that I had the bestest Valentines ever! I don't think Chris was over the moon about me blogging this (as his Mum's probably reading) but I told him I simply had to because I thought it was lovely and I wanted to ..... well ..... show off really!

On Friday night I arrived at Chris's flat and as I opened the door there were pearly pink balloons everywhere. There were candles and red heart-shaped fairy lights too. There was also a furry red heart-shaped cushion on the sofa, a dozen red roses and fizzy pink wine. Chris cooked a fab dinner and pudding was strawberry and cream tart. He also gave me the lushest box of Hotel Chocolat Valentines chocolates and dang, they're good. Like really good.

Do you see - I couldn't let all that effort and romantical wonderfulness go unmentioned, could I? I tell you, it was like something out of a movie! I'm such a lucky girl.
