'Confetti'

Encased Frit BeadsParticles of pretty multicoloured frit suspended in sparkling crystal clear glass. There's something magical about encased frit - the encasing layer gives such depth. These are simple but eye-catching beads. I've teamed them with some spacers made from a gorgeous vanilla coloured glass.

While we're on the subject of gorgeous coloured glass, I've been playing with some of the newer Creation Is Messy colours. I love CiM glass - the colours are so smooth, clean and crisp. CiM's glass colour names are pretty cool too. Here's a few test beads that I made with 'Crocus' and 'Heffalump'.

CiM Test BeadsLavender coloured glasses are notoriously difficult to photograph. They don't like artificial light but they just shine in natural daylight. I'll definitely be getting more of these two shades. Sublime!

Veryan - the heart on the far left is made with Heffalump and the slightly darker ones are the Crocus.
